Task Management

With Newelo Task Management solution you can use Newelo web user interface to create and manage tasks to your staff.

Our solution allows the use of very versatile tasks, ranging from a most simple ”take a photo” to a complete field repair work flow with attached definitions, documentation and supporting databases. 

Newelo Task Management solution also allows you to create templates for recurring or routine tasks to speed up the creation of an individual task. You may use any number of pre-filled templates to significantly speed up the work. You may also create any number of employee groups, to which the tasks can be addressed to - instead of individual persons.

With Newelo Task Management View you can easily monitor the implementation of your tasks. In real time you may view acceptance of the tasks, progress with the tasks and completion of the tasks. You may also follow and contribute to solving any task related issues or problems easily by the discussion feature. Newelo tasks are bidirectional and interactive, which makes office and field staffs closer to each others.

You can browse your tasks in Newelo Task Management in various ways. You have for example calendar views, employee views, group views as well as your individual views in use. In short, managing tasks has been made simple and yet scalable to your most demanding needs.

Connectivity

With Newelo API solution you can use Newelo functionalities directly from your familiar enterprise backend solution, having no need to learn how to use a new system.

You can integrate data from your all corporate solutions to create and manage tasks. Simple API calls is all you need to do to use Newelo enterprise mobility functionalities.

Newelo API solution is based on open standardized technologies, making it easy, reliable and straightforward to use from your backend solution. In addition, Newelo is participating in OASIS Field Force Management related standardization work for making Newelo mobility functionalities available via an industry-wide common solution also on Field Force Management domain.

Location awareness 

Use Location Information for your benefit. Newelo Location Awareness module functions with tasks and with people. 

Location information in tasks aids in finding the place where the task needs to be done, but may also function as a tricker in a manner that the task is only shown when the person enters the location and the task is visible only to those who are present at the task location.

Planning the work according to locations saves time and money. When ever needed,our Location Awareness feature let´s you see your moving workforce on the map. This enhances security of your workforce and provides important information for workflow and route optimisation.

Seeing the workforce on the map let´s you easily target the tasks to the nearest person or team.

We already have support for Navteq, Google and Open Street Map, but we also offer a solution for your preferred map information provider.

Mobility

Newelo offers Enterprise Mobility on all major mobile platforms. You may have rugged tablets, sleek smartphones or even older mobile phones - Newelo solution works on all of those.
